I am going to college to major in elementary education and minor in art. I’d like to get a job as a kindergarten teacher and have a side job as a freelance artist or a mangaka (a manga artist). Right now, I’m looking to get a job (my first job) at a Trader Joe’s near where I live. I have done jobs like dog-sitting and babysitting, as well as volunteer work like vacation Bible school. I’m open to any careers involving young children.

Where I Live…

Although I was born in Southern California (Ventura County), I’ve lived in Reno for close to ten years (most of my life). I’m currently living up near Virginia City. Here’s a picture of Mount Rose from the road I have to take to get home…

Skills, Hobbies, and Interests

As I said before, I’m minoring in art. Art has always been my favorite pastime and hobby. Drawing original characters is really fun, and like creative writing as well, hence why a manga artist would be a fun side hustle. Here’s a drawing I did recently in honor of the end of the semester.

Along with drawing and creative writing, I also like baking and cooking, but mostly baking.

Some other things about me are that I have the most fun when I’m spending time with my friends and my sister, just hanging out and talking. I love all animals, but my favorite animal is a red fox. My favorite color is green, and my favorite food is probably some kind of pasta dish or ice cream. I was home-schooled since I was in fifth grade, and most importantly, I’m a Christian who loves Jesus.
